Ohio is a well known mid western state of the United States of America and it has got immense cultural and geographical significances. Ohio has got a hybrid culture as it is inhabited by Iroquois, Wyandots and Miamis. And, at the beginning of the 18th century people migrated from the Middle States, upper south, England and Appalachia to Ohio in USA.

The history of Ohio is highly interesting and we love to know the changes the state underwent with the passage of time. Ohio was once a British colony and then became a part of the United States of America and later on the state got involved with the American Civil War activities. And during the phase of industrialization, Ohio developed as an important hub for petroleum industry. Presently, Ohio in USA is known for its advanced health care services through Cleveland Medical Center.
