More than 11 Airlines come here and everyday there are about 580 departures from this airport in Cincinnati. Airlines leaving Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport are connected to 113 countries non-stop. Apart from these facilities, non-stop flights to important international cities like, London, Zürich, Frankfurt, Toronto and Paris can also be accessed from here.
On the other hand, there is Lunken Airport in Cincinnati too, which is a municipal airfield used for private business purposes and mainly jet planes land here. Before Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport was built, Lunken Airport was the main airport of the city. This old airport is situated on the eastern side of Little Miami river. Apart from these, there is another smaller airport in Cincinnati called Cincinnati West Airport in Harrison, in the state of Ohio. Though small in size and capacity, but in reality, it serves a lot to the people of Cincinnati. The Blue Ash Airport, though located in Blue Ash, is actually an airport under the government of Cincinnati. However, all the attempts of turning this airport into a commercial airport has ended in vain.
